Did you know? Woods Street is a tribute to Associate Professor Robin AM and Judith Woods. Robin and Judith owned and operated Yass Dental Practice for many years after purchasing the practice in 1957. Robin was passionate about dental care, working with Sydney University he furthered community dental health, and continued this work as a consultant and lecturer with the World Health Organisation. He strongly supported preventative dentistry and the use of fluoride to reduce dental caries, Yass being the first town in Australia to have fluoridated town water. Robin was president of Yass Music Club, one of the oldest such clubs in Australia, for over 50 years.
